Today, I am grateful to be able to share with you the launch of the September cohort of "Identifying Burnout and Compassion Fatigue"

I've been spending a lot of time with two specific groups - Caregivers and Service Providers - and what I am hearing over and over is the need for strategies to stay connected to the work of providing care. From Parents, to Instructional Aids, to Healthcare Professions, to Librarians, we are ALL experiencing a drain on our emotional and mental capacities as we try to build the new normal.

This drain has always been a part of connected caregiving and is a normal (and reasonable) part of the practice of attuning to and being with other humans. Even pre-pandemic, I was tapped to teach on this topic and it was one of the reasons I launched my YouTube channel years ago (don't get too excited, I haven't posted anything in almost 2 years).

But now....

Now we see that it is a crucial necessity that we are putting in sustainable practices that increase our capacity to care for ourselves and others. In some respects, it can feel like we have used all of our margin and resources up in the the last few years as we have navigated, pivoted, and problem-solved in incredibly creative - but also extremely costly - ways.

What do you do when you've given it your all and you realized that there is more need?

If a satisfactory answer for you does not include completely disengaging from all of it, then capacity expansion and maintenance is required, which is why I'm go glad to open up the registration for this cohort for the next week.

Identifying Burnout and Compassion Fatigue is a module from my larger course Avoiding Burnout and Maintaining Compassion and as I've been walking several people through it in live events over the last month, I decided to dust off the on-demand version, spruce it up, and share it with you all.

What to expect from the course
